As the most recent National USGBC LEED-CI Core Committee Chair, she has participated in the LEED Steering Committee and Management Subcommittee since 2007. She was a member of the core team who developed the USGBC LEED-CI / IDC workshop curriculum.

Building Owner: Shannon Westberg, General Manager, Harbor Group Management. Shannon has 15 years experience in commercial real estate high rise management. Since her firm acquired the 100 year old Hurt Building in downtown Atlanta, Shannon has led her staff & tenants in sustainability initiatives that resulted in an Energy Star rating in the top 10% of the nation . The Hurt Building is the first and oldest commercial office building to achieve the prestigious LEED-Existing Buildings Gold Certification in Georgia.
